Anyone know the surface disc and extension pole being used for this and if it is hot water or cold water? I don't generally use any kind of pressure on a roof and definitely don't walk on slate. So, this looks like a good option. Cleaning lichen, especially if it is think and in a hard to reach area, can be very challenging and often dangerous if not doing properly.

Restored my faith. I have slate roof in my new house and it is full of moss and hasn't been cleaned in over a decade. I was worried as I heard slate is the most break-prone (though durable and long-lasting) type of tile and needs to be treated with care when cleaning. This looks thorough but gentle enough.

Hi Lee, ive been watching your videos on and off for years now, one of the best examples of pressure washing ive came across, ive 2 vans at it in Ireland, ive always used Gx390s or yanmars at 21 litres a minute with spinners to wash tiles roofs, we often put biocide on after we clean them, recently got a mazzoni hot box...do you use the heat to get the job done faster and better or just to get off the white lichen completely...if your like me you probably wo t have time to answer this, regards Darragh from Spooners Cleaning Co. The only problem with your inertia reel is that they are designed to be used overhead and keep the wire tight. By the time that wire would have caught you you'd have either hit the ground or the force of you internal organs would be finding their way out through your backside..

I recently had new siding installed but kept the old gutters and small areas surrounding my house that weren't replaced so they looked horrible and dirty because of the new siding. I needed to get it cleaned asap. When I used the pressure washer, man it just melted all the dirt and grime that was on those areas of my house. I used that krud kutter soap and it was over after that. Easy to assemble, feels durable, very simple to use. Also, I purchased a used one to save money and there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. I want to get more use out of it so I think I'll be washing the cars and update this comment as time goes on.
